Labor reforms once again making Chicago one of the most attractive cities to host trade shows.

The Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority (MPEA) and the labor unions that represent the McCormick Place workforce have reached a settlement.  The most significant reform is the establishment of The Exhibitors’ Bill of Rights that allows exhibitors to set up their own exhibits in any size booth, using their own ladders or hand tools, cordless tools, power tools and other tools designated by the Authority.
